This is an exciting role focused on increasing sales into retailers but also working across marketing, sponsorship and partnerships to help grow the business, and establish new opportunities. Zone3 has enjoyed phenomenal organic growth over the last decade, becoming the UK’s number one wetsuit brand in triathlon. There are still huge opportunities for growth both within the UK and overseas.
We’ve got big ambitions and are looking for someone who shares our passion and values to help grow our portfolio of products and distribution.
You will work closely on our existing B2B sales accounts as well as establishing relationships with new retailers. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the sports retail industry, ideally having experience in the swimming, triathlon, running or fitness sectors.
A key part of this role will be focused on growing new markets and expanding Zone3’s reach into the individual discipline sports, with a particular focus on swim, run and the wider gym/fitness market. You will be the driving force of our growth here and need to utilising all existing contacts to open new doors and get us onto shop floors and ultimately in customers hands.
You will be an integral part of the sales team and work closely with the marketing dept. to ensure all commercial opportunities are properly activated and in line with business objectives. This role requires someone who is able to think outside of the box and have a strong commercial head with real salesmanship. You’ll be well aware of the industry landscape and areas the brand can break into.
The nature of any growing business means we’re always looking for that next opportunity and the ideal candidate will share this drive, pushing things through from an idea to completion. Good communication skills are key together with being highly organised both personally and from an account management perspective.
Experience in the triathlon, swimming, running, or general sports industry is essential, likewise is sales experience. B2B retail account management experience preferential and a second language would be advantageous.
